ZAINAB ALIYU RELEASED
Zainab Aliyu has been released after the Nigerian Government established her Innocence to the Saudi Arabia authorities. This was disclosed by the permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sulaiman Mustapha. Zainab’s innocence was established alongside Ibrahim Abubakar who was the second victim in the case. Both Zainab and Ibrahim were victims of a drug cartel that places hard drugs in travelers luggage’s in Aminu Kano Airport.
Zainab and Ibrahim were arrested on 24 December 2018 in Saudi Arabia after a bag containing Tramadol was found attached to their names without their knowledge.
Ibrahim Abubakar will be released tomorrow.
