She is 22 years old who graduated with a CPGA of 4.81 emerging as the first female 1st class graduate in Physics from the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto. A feat she attributed to dedication and prayers. She said she read to understand, not just to pass Examination. She has always demostrated impressive intelligence being the best overall at the University Primary School and final year at University Primary School Sokoto, and best overall in NECO.

Medicine was her first choice but she had 185 in JAMB and so was not offered Medicine, instead she was offered Adult Education which she declined. She was however offered three Options of Physics, Mathematics and Statistics and she chose Physics. Despite discouragement she gave it all, reading and having little time to gist with friends.

Zainab desires to go into teaching in order to remove the fear of Physics from students and contribute her quota towards imparting knowledge of Physics.

She graduated in November 2018 and got married in January 2019 to Aminu Abdurrahman who is a medical Doctor.
