OYEYEMI CONGRATULATES MUSLIMS, ENJOINS SAFETY.

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi PHD congratulates Muslims on the commencement of the spiritual exercise saying it calls for sober reflection and the need for observing safety during the period.

According to the spoke person of the Corps Bisi Kazeem in a press release, the Corps Marshal in his solidarity message emphasized the need to use the Ramadan period to reflect on road safety and security of lives. He called road users to avoid acts capable of exposing their lives to danger saying such acts run contrary to Islamic injections.

He appealed to the Imams to make road safety part of their regular sermons this period saying road safety is a collective responsibility. He enjoins all road users to rededicate themselves to road safety and avoid actions that could undermine their lives on the road.

He restated the Corps commitment to upholding safer road environment during the period through more forceful enforcement and public enlighten programs. He assures all road users that men of the Corps would be at all strategic points at close hour rush to manage traffic. He therefore solicited the cooperation of the public to ensure that roads remain free and safe for all.
