I am forever buried in minefield opinion that Winnie Mandela was not fairly treated by the people she spent majority of her youthful life fighting for. If she had not kept the struggle alive, mainstream beneficiaries of post-apartheid would have long been buried in the sepulchre of the conquered!

I am forever a Mandela fan. Times that bred heroic, unbendable principled and steadfast men like him are rare especially when equaled with our own clime.

Mandela’s minus to me was putting away Winnie. He should have stood by her in her hour of crucification and not capitulate to pressure from ANC or whatever the powers that were adjudicating!

Whatever she did was not reason enough for Winnie to be flung away like a rotten potato.

Show me a man who can remain faithful to his imprisoned wife for a year and i will show you he is Angel Gabriel himself.
