FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS RECOVERS OVER 2M FROM ACCIDENT SCENE

The Federal Road Safety Corps today rescued road crash victims as part of its ongoing Easter Special Patrol. The accident was a lone mishap involving a lite Ace Bus with registration number WWD 558XA was on its way to Lagos from Ibadan.

The cause of the accident was attributed to loss of control after a burst tyre due to overspending.

Nine passengers out of eleven sustained various degree of wounds. They were rushed from the scene of the accident at Alakpako KM27 Lagos Ibadan expressway to Ifeoluwa Hospital Ogunmakin for medical attention.

The property from the vehicle was removed to the FRSC office for documentation and safety. It was after detailed Investigation that it was discovered that the sum of 2,967000,70  (two Million, nine hundred and sixty seven thousand, seventy naira) belonged to one of the injured in the Hospital, a woman named Asabi Adenike who authorized that the money should be handed over to her mother Bisola Adedeji.
