I want to extol the virtues of this great man who has done so well in less than 7 years in matrimony. What he has assisted his wife accomplish within these period would disgrace many men who had been married for years.

It is not the number of years that qualifies a marriage as successful, it is the quality of efficaciousness, the positivity, the prosperity and the effectiveness in turning and touching the life of each other that is paramount.

Marriage mars or makes you.  It builds or breaks you. Whom you marry affects your destiny. It is corrupted or it is constructed. Therefore, you need to be very cautious and prayerful to marry the right partner who can help you achieve and fulfil destiny.

When this young lady was dating this young man, her friends sniggered. They expected her to date the big guys. They tried to coerce her to join them in their runs, but the young lady wanted more out of life than to engage in cheap runs. Her immediate need after her youth Service was a regular job. They snickered at her ‘’shallow” dreams.

When they could not persuade her to join them; they kicked her out of the house.

Luckily, the young man she was dating wanted marriage. And they tied the nuptials.

The young man was after the advancement of his wife. The wife started her business in lingerie in a small scale. For her to excel in business, he bought her a sienna bus to help facilitate her movement but stuck with his Camry. That was the beginning of the evolvement of their dream.

This young lady began supplies to stores and supermarkets. Each progression in sales was computed and deposited into the bank by the husband. She did not need to stress herself.

That was mutual trust.

She opened a shop in a plaza; everyone knows plazas are very expensive. When I heard the cost of renting the shop, my eyes almost popped out of the sockets. I thought it was a huge waste of resources. I felt the money should be invested into the growing business. My suppositions were wrong, she was right!

Then began her trips to China as the business expanded.

Today, she has opened another branch in Dawaki.

Foremost, I salute the husband for his boundless and selfless support. The idea of going into this lingerie business must be his, when you interact with him; you instantly perceive the business ideas bursting in his head.

He inordinately did not upgrade his car to feed his male ego while his wife sweats it out in the sun.

He bought fuel and serviced the cars; he did not opined that since he had set her in business, he has no further business with her welfare.

A wisdom nugget for young ladies. Do not despise a man because he is not rich,

Do not deride a man because he has not arrived,

Do not disparage a struggling man,

Do not scorn a man because he is not up to your expectations.

Do not contemptuously dismiss a man because he is not driving the kind of car you dream of but marry a man who is rich in ideas and has purpose driven.

Today, while she is a wife, mother and CEO of her business some of those who scorned her and her choice of spouse are still walking the streets.

I commend you ELOT EJEKOR, congratulations Confidence Ejekor on this feat. I was there when you started; I am pleased to see how far you have come. Both of you are great stimulus and motivation, a manual for the youth to draw inspiration from.
