PB. I am princess Adebimpe Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife’s younger sister. I am the last born of my parents.

KB. Tell us about your older sisters, princess Folashade and princess Adesola? What do you love about them?

PB. I love both sisters. They have been my big sisters from childhood, they are my friends and confidants, the shoulder that I lean on, they have been my good guides in life, they are my advisers, they have been there for me all my life. We are best of friends. Both sisters have been like my mother, they are o loving and accommodating. I am really so blessed to have such wonderful sisters. As the last child of my parents, they dotted on me. I enjoyed privileges from my sisters and brothers.

KB. Tell us about kabiyesi, your relationship with him as a kid and now?

PB. (Smiles) kabiyesi has always been a good and responsible older brother. I got away with so many things with him. He loves me and he indulges me. He is a patient brother. He can sacrifice his comfort for me and his siblings. He is very loving and so kind. He is very down to earth. He took up my responsibility as far back as 1998. I truly appreciate him for that.

KB. How has royalty affected you too?

PB. I miss seeing him as much as I want. You know being an older brother and I am next to him, we played together and many things siblings do together, but today, I can’t do those things with him anymore. A lot has changed. I cant do things like before neither can i go to places nor dress anyhow. But royalty he been good and positive. God is great.

KB. What do you do in your leisure time?

PB. I watch movies.

KB. You were in Canada before relocating back, were you missing home?

PB. Life abroad is lonely. I missed my siblings. We are a closely knit family. We have a great bond. Home is good despite all odds. I am really glad to be back home.

KB. You are always happy and smile lot. No your sisters smile a lot but you laugh happily. What makes you happy?

PB. (Laughing) God is the reason for my joy.I thank God for everything in life. I had a wonderful and happy childhood, surrounded by loving parents and wonderful siblings. I am easy going and friendly but those who don’t know me think I am unfriendly, too bold and harsh. This is because I don’t mince words. I don’t pretend, I am a straight forward person who says things the way it is.

KB. You did a good job raising princess Adeola. She turns out to be a humble princess, gentle, unassuming and quiet lady.

PB. I am so grateful to God for the enabling grace to raise her. It is God who does the raising of kids I am just the instrument. Princes Adeola has finished her schooling to God be the glory and she is doing her youth corps now. A wonderful girl. I miss her dearly.
